The Korean Language Education Center (KLEC) at Kookmin University is a specialized educational institution providing high-quality educational services for international students wishing to systematically learn the Korean language and culture on a beautiful and pleasant campus adjacent to Bukhansan National Park. Through a total of six customized regular courses ranging from beginner to advanced levels, the center offers balanced instruction in speaking, listening, reading, and writing. An excellent faculty of master's and doctoral-level instructors, possessing extensive experience and expertise, provides meticulous support for the individual growth of each student. Furthermore, the center enhances understanding of Korean society through practical, hands-on cultural experiences and field trips conducted outside the classroom, while maximizing learning immersion by providing a state-of-the-art learning environment, including smart classrooms and comfortable dormitories. Moreover, it assists international students in successfully transitioning into university life by providing professional admissions counseling and guidelines for those hoping to enroll in Kookmin University's undergraduate or graduate programs.

Education is divided into beginner (Levels 1, 2), intermediate (Levels 3, 4), and advanced (Levels 5, 6) levels to match the students' Korean proficiency, and each level is run as a 10-week course with 4 hours of instruction per day.
